“Montessori Roots, Future Leaders”

About Us

At Education Nation Learning Academy, we believe that every child deserves a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment rooted in Montessori principles. Established in 2012, our child care facility has grown into a diverse community of learners, offering children a space to develop their independence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Inspired by the Montessori philosophy, we emphasize hands-on learning, self-directed exploration, and respect for each child’s unique pace of development.

Serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, we provide an environment where children are encouraged to discover, create, and grow with confidence. Our thoughtfully prepared classrooms offer a range of Montessori materials designed to foster curiosity and a love for learning, ensuring that every child is supported in their journey toward becoming independent and capable learners.

Our Facility

Our 7 Principles

At our facility we incorporate seven executive functions into our curriculum. These are crucial for children to learn in the early stages of development because they form the core skills necessary for academic success, social interaction, and personal growth. Our principles are the following:

Stages Of Early Childhood Development

Children ages birth to 18 months progress focuses on key developmental stages that support their growing independence and curiosity. At this age, the focus is on building trust and security through sensory exploration and movement. During this time, infants begin to develop their motor skills, transitioning from observing their environment to crawling, pulling up, and eventually walking. Early language development and simple practical life activities, such as holding a cup or feeding themselves, are also introduced. As they enter the Toddler Community (18 months to 3 years), children become more autonomous, engaging in self-care activities like dressing, pouring, and cleaning. This stage emphasizes social development, allowing toddlers to practice cooperation and participate in more complex tasks. The Montessori environment nurtures each child’s growth, providing opportunities for exploration, language development, and early academic experiences.
For children ages 18 months to 3 years, the focus shifts toward greater independence, autonomy, and social development. During this stage, toddlers are encouraged to engage in practical life activities that foster self-care, such as dressing, handwashing, and cleaning. These tasks help build confidence and refine motor skills. Language development accelerates, with children expanding their vocabulary and communication skills. They also begin to engage in more complex activities like food preparation, sorting, and early math and sensorial experiences. Socially, toddlers learn to interact with peers, practice cooperation, and develop a sense of community, all within a carefully prepared Montessori environment designed to nurture their curiosity and foster a love for learning.
For children aged 3 to 6 years, the focus is on fostering independence, concentration, and foundational academic skills. During this stage, children engage in self-directed, hands-on activities that help them develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Practical life exercises continue to refine their motor skills and teach responsibility through tasks like preparing food, cleaning, and caring for their environment. Sensorial activities sharpen their observation and classification skills, while language and math materials introduce reading, writing, and early mathematical concepts through concrete, tactile learning experiences. Socially, children learn to collaborate, communicate respectfully, and contribute to their community, developing both their emotional and social intelligence in a nurturing and supportive environment.

What Makes Us Different?

Independence, Life
Skills & Finance

We play a pivotal role in laying the foundation of independence and financial literacy in young children through a variety of creative and age-appropriate activities. By incorporating play-based learning, children are introduced to the concept of money through games that simulate shopping experiences, using play money to buy and sell items. This not only helps them understand the value of money but also teaches them basic addition and subtraction. Additionally, responsibilities such as organizing their personal belongings, managing simple tasks, and making small decisions foster independence. Through role-playing scenarios, children learn about different professions and the importance of earning and saving money. These activities are designed to be engaging and interactive, ensuring that children absorb these essential life skills in a fun and memorable way, setting a strong foundation for their future. We teach students the essential life skills through hands-on activities and interactive lessons that cover practical topics such as self-care, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, equipping them with the tools they need for independence and social interaction.

Convenience &
Communication

We place immense value on effective communication and convenience for parents, recognizing the importance of a transparent and supportive partnership in the upbringing of your children. We use a cutting-edge application designed specifically for seamless interaction between staff and parents. Through this app, parents receive real-time updates about their child’s day, including activities participated in, snacks eaten, nap times, and any notable achievements or areas for growth. The application also facilitates direct messaging, enabling quick and efficient communication that puts parents’ minds at ease. Whether it’s sharing a photo of a child’s latest art project or sending a reminder about upcoming events, this digital tool ensures that parents are fully informed and engaged in their child’s daycare experience, reinforcing the center’s commitment to convenience, reassurance, and a strong, collaborative community. We also provide curb-side drop off/pickup for parents with a vehicle, that gives you the luxury of staying in your vehicle.

Diversity

We foster an understanding and appreciation of diversity among young children through a rich and inclusive curriculum. By integrating stories, music, art, and celebrations from various cultures around the world, children are exposed to the wide range of traditions, languages, and customs that make up the global community. The center encourages open discussions about differences and similarities among people, teaching children to embrace and respect diversity from an early age. Activities are thoughtfully designed to promote empathy, curiosity, and a sense of belonging among all children, regardless of their background. Our facility boasts a diversified staff, representing a variety of cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds.
